5,000 followers · Nano creator
Likes + comments on a post ÷ followers. Smaller accounts usually have higher engagement, so this is judged against what's typical for the size.
Brands pay for views, so this matters most. Use your last 10 Reels and leave out one-off viral hits.
What the brand wants from you
3 or more pieces from one creator usually come cheaper as a package.
Your suggested price

Paying in product? Creators this size often accept barter worth about the same, or a smaller product plus a fee.

A fair price for one Instagram Reel in India is about ₹600–₹1,000 at 1,000 followers, ₹1,500–₹3,000 at 10,000 and ₹6,500–₹14,000 at 1 lakh. Charge about a third of that for a story and about 60% for a feed post. On Hypee, creators under 1,000 followers list a median of ₹800 per Reel, and creators with 1K–10K list ₹2,000 (11 Oct 2026).
Your Reel views matter more than your followers: if your Reels get more views than usual for your size, charge more. Add extra for a brand that wants to run your video as an ad or asks you not to work with competitors, and offer a small discount on packages of three or more pieces.

Brands pay for views. Put your average Reel views (last 10 Reels, no one-off viral hits) in your media kit.
If a brand runs your video as an ad, add about 25% for 30 days, 40% for 90 days and 85% for a year.
Not working with competitors for 30 days is worth about 20% more; 90 days about 35%.
1 Reel + 2 stories for about 20% less than separately wins more deals without cutting your rate.
Finance, tech, business and health audiences pay more; comedy and entertainment a little less.
Re-check your rate every few months as your views and results grow, and after every deal that performed.

What creators ask before quoting a brand.
About ₹600–₹1,000 at 1,000 followers, ₹1,500–₹3,000 at 10,000 and ₹6,500–₹14,000 at 1 lakh, at typical views and engagement. Higher Reel views or engagement than usual for your size, a premium niche, ad usage and exclusivity all raise it.
Creators with 1K–10K followers on Hypee list a median of ₹2,000 per Reel, and the middle half list ₹900–₹3,000. Use the calculator with your own views for a fairer number.
About a third of your Reel rate. A feed post is about 60% of a Reel.
Only if the product is worth about what you'd charge for the content and the ask is small. Otherwise ask for the product plus a fee.
